Robert Kubica will not take part in round four of the FIA World Rally Championship. The Polish driver – who competed this year with the RK World Rally Team – wants to dedicate more time to the re-organisation of the team. It will guarantee the highest level of performance, operation and organisation in future rallies.

As the team was created just before Rallye Monte Carlo – the opening round of this year’s World Rally Championship – Robert Kubica is adamant that now the team, rather than competing in Argentina, needs substantial work and implementation of crucial changes in its structure.

Robert Kubica: This has been a very difficult decision to take. We have always planned to compete in Rally Argentina and although part of the team, including the car, is already on site, it was necessary to skip this event. It is a real challenge to compete in the World Rally Championship and although I won six stages in the first three rounds, we have to be realistic and focus on improving the team in many areas. We plan to come back for the Rally de Portugal with a different structure, which will be systematically fine-tuned.I would like to ask all our fans for understanding and I want to thank for support.
